“Hope” (2024)

“Hope” captures a quiet exchange between human vulnerability and light.

The man’s posture — slightly bowed, inward, heavy — aligns with the illuminated bulb, creating the illusion of a silent conversation. The light becomes more than an object; it transforms into a presence.

Small, minimal letters radiate from the bulb, subtly forming the word “hope.” Their scale and restraint are intentional — they do not overpower the scene but instead emerge gently, like a thought forming in the mind.

This project explores the idea of animating the inanimate — allowing light to act as comfort, dialogue, and possibility. It reflects how hope often appears in the simplest forms: not loudly, but as a quiet glow in moments of weight.
